The Eternal Struggle is a Military based RPG game, set within the context and universe of the Sith Empire.
The Eternal Struggle: A Sith Trials Story
The year is 150 ABY. The Sith Empire reigns over a large portion of the Galaxy. But all is far from peaceful and in order. The Federation of Democratic Planets is still locked in a hot to cold to hot power struggle with the Empire, vying for multiple systems all over the galaxy. On top of this, Crime syndicates swoop in to claim territories embroiled with conflict. These wars have been given a name by the Sith Troops. The Eternal Struggles. Among the greatest troops fighting for the glory of the Empire are the First Imperial Special Tactics Battalion, and Albtraum Squad, the Premier Ground and Air/Space units in the Imperial Military, under the overall banner of the “Black Legions”. They are sent to the forefront of every battle. They are not the Sith Masters, fighting in with the mysterious powers of the Force. They do not fight with the Dark Side or the Light. They fight out of a sense of honor and duty, they fight for each other. Patriotism for their great homes. And these are their stories.
The Campaign of the Valc is only one of many across the stars as the Eternal Empire moves to bring peace, security, and justice to the entirety of the galaxy. The men and women of the Imperial Military and Eternal Sith Empire serve and move forward with for the glory and stability of it.
Soldiers, Officers, and Mercenaries on all fronts and Corps will be needed to continue the fight.
As the struggle continues the men and women of the Empire remain vigilant, stalwart, and faithful, every present and marching forward for the will of the Empire and the Dark Council.

After initial victories on the systems Valc VII and Phaeda, the force the Imperial Sith Empire have pushed on and laid siege to Ankus, their third targeted system as they systematically push into the Federation controlled space. Engaging in a prolonged ground siege campaign that has laid waste to much of the planet’s northern hemisphere. While the system is now under Sith control, key strongholds still pose a threat and hold out with the potential to undo the gains thus far.
Game rules
1) Absolutely NO trolling within this thread. Along with OOC chatter to a minimum if absolutely necessary.
2) No god-modding.
3) The CO-GMs have final say in all matters, a players participation is their own. Any concerns, questions, grievances should be handled via PM and privately. Discussions and final decisions will be made by them alone regarding situations.
4) ALL CHARACTER SHEETS MUST BE SENT TO ME VIA PM OR FACEBOOK MESSENGER FOR APPROVAL.
Game Notes
The first chapter of this game is under the banner of a “closed-RPG”, with selected players having already been chosen. Subsequent game chapters or game versions will be potentially opened up to new players, should there be an interest and need. Non-playable characters (NPCs)
These characters are major plot and game characters, interacting with our players throughout the RPG. They are controlled by the GM, with their reactions being based upon a mix of pre-determined story plots, as well as interactions with the players themselves.
Chief
Senior Chief Roan Calal: Chief Calal is a former special operation soldier within the Black Legions, grizzled old veteran now stationed on the Bastion-class assault Cruiser “Crinitus Egastas”. The Chief is unable to actively participate in front line missions and took a position within the fleet along with a demotion in order to continue to serve. He is trusted, respected by the crew and throughout the Black Legions, and usually always in close proximity to Captain Barr.

Captain Niev Barr
: Captain Barr is is a stalwart commander, former special operations himself, having been through the ranks with him eventually arriving to his current command position. He is the ideal CO as he is a straight shooter and knows the demands of what any special operations team must perform under. A war veteran himself he is respected by those he commands. While he operated by the book and is a stern and demanding CO, he knows when to let his team take the lead providing them the support they need to see things through while keeping them on task and within the operational scope. He will not hold back in his criticism and making sure his team knows when they are off base if necessary, but always trusts in the men and women of his team. He is the commanding officer of the squads base of operations, the Bastion-class assault ship
“Crinitus Egastas”.
Commander First Imperial Special Tactics Battalion
Lieutenant General Sta Cottery: Lt. General Cottery is the overall sector commander, in charge of operations for the Black Legion as well as the whole of the First Imperial Special Tactics Battalion, based out of the 5th fleet and in charge of operations to take Valc VII. He is a sound strategist and tactician, respected by both the whole of the army and naval command structure. Cottery comes from a Academy background, rising through the ranks through sheer skill and knowledge. Having seen little combat himself, he is still respected by those he commands for his ability to put forth sound strategies and lead his forces with a commanding presence. While not the overall commander it has been Cottery’s strategies that have seen the Sith forces to multiple successful campaign victories up to this point. He keeps a personal watch on the Black Legion and ensures they are taken care of and allowed to carry out what they need to. General in charge of 2nd Sith Army Corp
General Trist Formaa: General Formaa, is one of three admirals and generals in charge of the whole of Sith forces in the Campaign to push into The Federation of Democratic Planets. He is also one of the highest ranking military members in the Sith Imperial ranks. Having taken personal charge of this campaign and overall operations. While a cunning tactician and mind, his focus has been more on politicking and positioning himself in the favor of the high Sith command. Demanding and pushy, he only seeks to advance his political and military standing to further his career. This has shown in his strategies as of late. Still Formaa hold heavy influence and sway within the Imperial Sith military with a vast amount of support. Admiral in charge of 5th Sith Fleet
Admiral Saym Kalet: Admiral Kalet, is one of three admirals and generals in charge of the whole of Sith forces in the Campaign to push into The Federation of Democratic Planets. She is a product of a strict military background and is a cold ruthless tactician. While others vie for political control, she wields the naval power of the Sith Imperial forces with deadly precision overall. Often at odds with General Formaa for his pushy and reckless strategies based more on politics than sound principle. Her concern is victory, not that of personal accolades like others. Albtraum Squad Intelligence officer
Lieutenant Commander Cyri Valcoth: Lt. Commander Valcoth is the direct link and communications officer for “Albtraum” squad. Operating out of the Nyx-class Sloop “Maelstrom”. A former pilot and intelligence officer Cyri is in constant contact with her team, providing intelligence, logistics, and fire support. Little is known about her actual service record and previous campaigns, but many sure of themselves soldiers have found out the hard way not to mess with her. She provides the majority of the teams mission briefs and acts as their task manager, keeping them on pace and in line. Droid Pilot
KX-series security droid designation K-5TC: K-5TC is a KX series droid responsible for piloting the teams Nyx Class sloop. K-5TC also operates as medical, engineering, translating, and suppressor droid. The team had declined to wipe the droids memory due to K-5TC accumulated intricate knowledge of the teams tactic and operational effectiveness. The effect being that the droid has developed quite the eccentric and at times sarcastic nature. It does not affect the droids effectiveness, but certainly makes for some lively exchanges and post-mission encounters.

Black Legion Special Tactics "Albtraum" Squad: Albtraum Squad is composed of a four person team, supported by their Communications Officer, and Pilot Droid. Operating out of a Sith cruiser “Crinitus Egastas” commanded by Captain Niev Barr. The teams main mode of transport is a heavily modified Nyx-class Sloop the “Maelstrom”.

Two Squadrons of TIE S/F multi-role fighter/bombers, six shuttles, and four transports. One Nyx Class Sloop.
The “Crinitus Egastas” is a Bastion-class assault Cruiser originally manufactured before the time of the Battle of Yavin IV. The sturdy design has given it a longer than expected life, and recent Sith refits and redesigns have given the cruiser new life. The “Crinitus Egastas” is the base of operations for “Albtraum” Squad. The cruiser normally acting indepent of the main fleet to support clandestine operations and covert missions of the Empire. While the cruiser boasts significant fire-power the nature of their missions and role has the cruiser seldom engaging in large fleet conflicts, instead the cruiser follows its role as a mobile base and platform for special operations.
Squad Ship Nyx-class Sloop “Maelstrom”
The Maelstorm is Length 56 meters and equipped with a moderate weapons suite of: Four wing tip mounted laser cannons (2 per wing), Two concussion missile launchers, and Two auto-defense turret mounted blaster cannons (one above, one below with effective rear, top. and bottom arcs of fire)
The vessel is equipped with a stygium crystal based cloaking device and a full suite of advanced countermeasures. An advanced sensor and communications suite, allows the Maelstrom to act as its own command and control center while supporting the squad and coordinating operations with the Sith, Bastion-class assault Cruiser “Crinitus Egastas”. The ship is equipped with a compact but fully capable med-bay for emergencies enough to keep two severely injured personnel stable for sometime. Additionally a compact two person holding cell allows for prisoner extradition.
The normal crew five has been automated down to one person and a pilot droid. Allowing for Albtraum Squad to operate independently while the vessel stays fully functional and at the ready. With supplies and consumables for up to three months, the Maelstrom, its crew, and Albtraum squad can operate independently for extended periods of time in the harshest of conditions. The addition of a Class .85 hyperdrive ensures that it is able travel to its destinations with haste.
