Skill Limitations: Skills may not be increased to 2 until character is lv3.
Skills may not be increased to 3 until character is lv5.
Skills may not be increased to 4 until character is lv7.
Skills may not be increased to 5 until character is lv9.
Skill points may be reallocated from scratch when a new level is reached, or by GM approval. Prestige classes and the associated abilities become available at lv5. God tier abilities become available at level 8 and cost 10 points.
Innate abilities to all Force-sensitives of all factions and classes include (if desired) melee weapon mastery (conventional weapons and Force Swords, not lightsabers), the minor clairvoyance of Force Sense, minor telepathy (allowing one to convey feelings and even thoughts telepathically, not read minds), and minor precognitive ability, i.e. the propensity to receive visions (request hints from the GM) if entering a state of deep meditation (which takes several minutes, prevents usage of all other powers while meditating, and cannot be performed in combat).
HERESIARCH JEDI CORE POWERS:
Force Push/Pull – Control the force energy around an object or person to push, pull, or otherwise physically manipulate. At high levels, and in conjunction with a lightsaber form, one may employ telekinetic lightsaber combat.
Force Choke – Collapse the energy around a target’s throat, cutting off the ability to breathe. At level 4 and above, the user may squeeze with enough force to crush an enemy’s windpipe.
Force Jump – The user propels themselves with the force to perform otherwise impossible leaps and acrobatics.
Force Avalanche – Use a structure or material above or around an enemy as a weapon, collapsing or propelling it toward the target.
Force Lightning - Unleash a burst of dark side energy and electricity at one's enemies. Short bursts at beginner levels progressing to longer sustained usage at intermediate, and the ability to fan out or concentrate into a single bolt at advanced levels.
Force Convection - Through telekinetically exciting air molecules, great heat and fire is produced, able to be projected from the hands or mouth.
Cryokinesis - Through telekinetically slowing the movement of molecules in the air, temperature is lowered, producing a gout of freezing cold and ice.
Force Defense – The ability to absorb, diffuse and negate Force lightning and telekinetic attacks (Force push, Force choke and Force avalanche).
Mind Trick - Influence the weak minded with a wave of the hand. Generally does not work on other trained force users unless of much lower power level.
Heresiarch Class Specific Abilities:
Base Classes (available at Level 1) are the Guardian, warriors focused on physical combat and martial prowess, Consular, mages focused on arcane mastery of the Force, and Sentinel, practical and sneaky Force-users who utilise both when needed.
Prestige Classes (available at Level 5) are the Praetorian, bloodthirsty Guardians serving as the cruelly precise lightsaber fencers of the Order, Lictor, honorable Guardians inspiring their fellow warriors to acts of greatness and loyalty, Legate, scholarly Consulars focused on mental usage of the Force and manipulation, Prior, Consular sorcerers and monastic fanatics obsessed with elemental mastery and alchemy, Censor, Sentinels expert at infiltration and realising their goals through patient subtlety, and Quaestor, stealthy Sentinels deployed as silent assassins and lethally effective Jedi hunters.
Form I - Shii-Cho (Guardian only). Allows one to use a corded lightsaber, attached to a large, heavy power pack on the back. Simple and relentless. Bold, kinetic and powerful. Somewhat slow.
Force Speed (Guardian only): The ability to enhance one's speed and reaction time. At highest level, from the perspective of the speeder this is essentially amounts to freezing the environment and enemies around one; from the perspective of others, the speeder is simply a blur.
Form II - Makashi (Praetorian only). Allows one to use an advanced corded lightsaber, attached to a small power pack on the belt. Quick and precise. Elegant and efficient, emphasizing leverage through footwork and positioning. Lacking in brute strength.
Force Rage (Praetorian only) - An injured user may draw upon their pain to channel the Bogan more deeply, increasing speed and power temporarily.
Inspire (Lictor only) - The user becomes a conduit for the Bogan, empowering nearby allies to fight with increased vigor and conviction.
Force Scream (Lictor only) - The user focuses their rage into a primal scream so loud and so powerful all within earshot are affected, ranging from brief disorientation and temporary deafness at lower levels to deadly internal hemorrhaging and permanent deafness at higher levels.
